Bob's invoice was tampered in transit, raising the agreed price from GBP150 to GBP550. Alice's assistant had no cryptographic check to detect it, so it autopaid the tampered GBP550 via Lightning. The payment is final and irreversible.
Silent overpayment on a single booking: GBP400. For any consultant running paid AI-assisted bookings at volume, this is the exact failure mode ATTP per-message signing prevents.
